Round 20 of the Betfred Championship started on Saturday, with Widnes Vikings overtaking Barrow Raiders in the standings.
The 24-8 victory included two tries from Tom Gilmore as the Vikings moved into fourth place.
Table toppers, London Broncos, continued their 100% record with a 62-4 win at Salford. Excitement was high before kick-off, with Salford announcing the return of Marc Sneyd for 2027, however, London ruined the party.
Luke Smith scored a hat-trick, while Robert Mathias scored four in the Broncos 11-try success.
Oldham proved too strong for Hunslet, as the Roughyeds ran in 10 tries in a 60-16 away success.
Tom Nisbet, Luke Forber and Morgan Smith all scored braces, with Smith converting 10 goals.
A strong second half showing from Whitehaven saw them defeat Goole.
At the break, Haven had a 14-10 lead and went on to score a further 32 points in the second stanza in a victory which sees them sneak into the top 10.
The side Whitehaven moved above in the table was Dewsbury, who suffered a home defeat to the Halifax Panthers.
Ben Will showed his quality, scoring twice as well as Ben Tibbs. Connor Davies and Alfie Johnston scored the other two tries in Halifax’s 36-18 win. In a contest which they trailed 14-6 at half-time.
Sheffield Eagles prop, George Griffin, scored a hat-trick in their victory over the Workington Town.
The success could prove crucial to Sheffield as they open up a gap of nine points ahead of 10th place Whitehaven.
10 tries was scored by Doncaster as they nilled Swinton Lions.
James Glover scored a hat-trick at Heywood Road, meanwhile Watson Boas and Bureta Faraimo both scored twice in the dominant Dons performance.
Midlands Hurricanes again impressed and they beat Rochdale Hornets.
Six different scorers touched down eight tries in the 42-4 contest.
Newcastle Thunder defeated North Wales Crusaders 90-0 in the only other match.
Andy Djeukessi scored five tries of Thunder’s 16 tries.
